All of my properties are like cTable or lShutdown with the one-letter variabletype prefix to tell what type, but also its harder to run into Reserved Word and Sytem Variable problems like that because don't all system vars have an "_"? As far as methods go, I see developers in FoxTalk and such use m as prefix to all of their methods. So unless you want a Character property Aption (not a typo) you should rarly hit this snag.

It was an old form from VFP 3 and for some reason had a property called DoCreate in the Properties field of the FORM record in the SCX. I found this while hacking the SCX in order to change the form class to one of my own.

After deleting that line from the Properties field, I wanted to see if I really got rid of it by seeing if I could add it back in the form designer so I could see it on the PEM sheet. Hence, the total confusion until I found out what it really was. I have no idea how it got into the Properties field in the SCX in the first place.
