Thanks for your help! Yes, that was true, so I moved the project to C: and re-compiled, and all works fine now. Strange, I checked the project for direct reference to any files on D:. I even installed MS's patch that supposedly fixed that quirk. Oh well, running a 7 year old compiler on a new OS - who knows?
