We have an VFP 5.0 EXE that extracts data from several FP 2.5 tables and writes transactions to a SYBASE database. This process runs nightly and has no user interface.

We recently switched our database from ASA to ASE and have experienced tremendous slow downs in the VFP process (which was not modified).

We started to do some monitoring of the server while the process was running. There is a finite number of transactions that are created repeatedly, however, as the process ran, the working set grew from 23 meg to 127 meg and the heap size grew from 20 meg to 123 meg.

Does anyone have any experience with this or is there a debugging technique available to find the cause to this problem?
