Over the course of the last year, I have encountered situations with FoxPro reports where the Error Message "Object xyz not found" occurs where xyz is the name of a table or field which is either open in the data envronment or not referenced in the report. All attempts to locate the offending code or reference have failed. Assigning a variable with the name xyz and an arbitrary value sometimes solves the problem.

Is there a place for hidden variable references in .frx files? Does anyone know of any sources of information about the contents of .frx, .scx and related files
