Thanks for the reply Edward if I understand it now... If I have code in the Error Event of the Form and the form methods/events has an error it will process the code in frmMyForm.Error Event. If I have code in frmMyForm.txtMyTextBox.Error Event it only processes if I have an error in the methods/events in frmMyForm.txtMyTextBox\
