>I have a grid and have a field that holds more data than the column I have set up. My grid is being used as a select like a listbox. Is there a way to show the data that is "missing" when you click on a field or maybe using a tooltip just for reference?
Peter,
Instead you could use an editbox expanding at rightclick to show a lot of info. Or make your textbox expand if you cannot make it wide enough beforehand. Tooltip is another option. If you need a sample for expanding editbox check edtExpand in files\classes section. Its current code has expansion on mousemove but that's not good and not updated. You could move the code to rightclick.
