The above doesn't work. The data comes into the date field the same from the table as from the text file. Which is strange.

This works... hadn't thought of that. My idea was to import with the date field as C(10) then add a date field and replace datefiel with ctod(cfield).

Thanks for the help... was hopping there would be an easier way.
