I have run into this a couple of times. It seems like it is just a momentary network problem. The first client that had this error was fixed by replacing the nic on the server. The latest client had to have all the network cables checked and sure enough a couple of them had to be redone. I good test I have found is to try and copy a large amount of data(10-30 megs) from the loacl machine to the server, Windows should give you an error message like 'file doesn't exist' or something like that.
