Hi,

We have a Novel 4.1 network and W95 stations.

I use exclusively free tables.
I SET MULTILOCKS ON.
I use a CREATEd CURSOR to enter line information that is copied to the DBF's at 'save' time.
The tables are opened in a private datasession.
I use traditional FPD26 locking.
I unlock all at the end of the Save routine.
I checked CursorGetProperty('Buffering'), it returns the default 1 (no buffering).

Now to my astonishment, and as long as the session has not closed the DBFS, when we want to access the data of a document that was recently created:

For the station that created the document, everything seems all right, albeit a bit slow

But ...

The other stations only see partial changes.

The problem disappears only when the DBFS are closed!

Can anyboddy figure that one

If things have the tendency to go your way, do not worry. It won't last. Jules Renard.
