You might look up MS KB Q221740: Form Object Is Not Released After Using PEMSTATUS(). If that is a candidate, then it may offer a workaround in lieu of implementing VFP 6 and SP3.

I hope, by the way, that the ref# above *is* a KB article #. Looks like one, but who knows.
