tentatively I can report the UK trend is just beginning to move in the right direction. We've just signed up (2 months ago) to the first service provider offering free telephone access to the internet (providing its after 6 pm or on weekends). However they've either grossly underprovided or underestimated demand. The resulting service is so appalling that we haven't been able to use it yet.

that is the symbol for the Isle of Man. Don't ask me why and don't ask me how I got assigned it. I'm not in the Isle of Man, I never told the UT that I was! (I'm in the Southwest of the UK mainland) However, I decided I liked the badge, so I haven't bothered 'correcting' it!
