I am at the end of my VFP report writer knowledge. I do use FoxFire and like its capabilities. As far as how they do it, I have no ide nor the time to try to wade through all their code [and it is massive]. Probably the best authority on report writing is Lisa Nicholls. You could check out her web site to see if she has any articles on this subject.
