>>>I currently have a URL which contains text files, what would I have to do to get that files and convert into a dbf file. Assume I already know how to convert a text file into dbf file. My problem is how to get that text file from URL to my PC using VFP coding!!

>>I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. Are you trying to retrieve the HTML source starting from a URL, and you want to do this through VFP via a Web Browser? If that's what you're after, I'd be very interested to know the answer too!

>Basically, the URL contains a textfile. Which I could download to my PC. But I would like to do this with VFP so that it retrieve the file to directory that I want and continue what I have to do , instead downloading this to my PC and then do what ever I have to do!!
When you say that "the URL contains a textfile", don't you mean that it POINTS to a file, i.e. it's an address, right? And by "textfile", do you mean a random ASCII text file or an HTML file. Where does VFP come in? What sort of application is this? I'm still not sure I understand what you're after.
