I see now, its every non-empty row. I don't have any ideas. Except one... I won't recommend doing this:

But you could but a transperant shope over the grid, on a click it moves itself back via zorder, you trap where the mose is a that instant and use the gridhittest to select where you clicked.

Again, I wouldn't use that method in a million years.
