Phil,

CompObj() is accurate in what you see. NULL <> NULL and it does not equalt anything else either. When NULL is a possibility you must;

IF CompObj(Obj1,Obj2) AND NOT (ISNULL(Obj1) OR ISNULL(Obj2))
