I have created an OLE object and am connecting to it from C and FoxPro. In C the CreateDispatch call works just fine and in FoxPro the CreateObject call works just fine. However, the C sample code supplied with FoxPro says I should be able to do a GetActiveObject call to reuse an existing OLE object - but it always returns a "no instance found" error and FoxPro's GetObject(,'ole.ole') call does the same (error 0x800401e3). Is this like MS issue Q147573? Is there a workaround? - Jim Cutler
