Evan, for shame! As an NTws MCP, I'd expect you to know you can configure a custom CONFIG file for each DOS App through its Property Sheet! < g >

It's important to know that the default file is CONFIG.NT, and that NT does allow you to set up the VDM environment on a program by program basis, rather than the inherit the base CONFIG setting approach for VDMs in Win9x, where the CONFIG.SYS value affects the total open files on a system-wide basis.
