>Since you're already reading this I'll go ahead and trouble you with one more question: Do you know of a way to read the userid from the Windows/NT registries? I have a request to automatically login the current user into a VFP APP with their current Windows or NT login? Can this even be done?

There's no need to go to the registry for the information; the current userid is an API call a stone's throw away, and it can also be extracted from the SYS(0) function return. There's an entry in the FAQ under Win32 and Other APIs that shows in 4 or 5 lines of code how to retrieve the username with the GetUsername Win32 API call, by the strange and unlikely name How to get the username?
