I've started a project in VB and was tunderstruck that there is no equivalent of Format = "!" (uppercase) and InputMask = "99.99%" (among other things) in VB for the textbox control. You have to create your own ActiveX components or buy a third party components library (which I chose) to start doing real work. Things that we get for granted in VFP are simply not existant in VB.
>Meaning what? I'm not a VB or Access proponent or defender (only a user), but this remark seems a bit far fetched. I can only imagine this is what friends of VB developers say about VFP.
