Thanks for you replies. It was very helpful. Most help files take care of making it all clear, or, at least take you to places which explain any extra information, there aren’t any direct links to constants from within the Excel/VB help. These constants are kind of hidden and never available first time for any entrepreneur looking for how to automate Excel. I just wonder why.

>It is important to note that there *is* documentation on this that does ship with the product. If you go into the Visual Basic Editor in Excel, press F2 to display the object browser, you can then search on the constant name to find the value. Dave's solution is nice because you get them in one shot.
