Hello Ken,
I have taken courses at ZDU and found them helpful. One has to be disciplined to take self study courses night/weekends.
There are of course many books available on T-SQL. I have one on SQL 7.0 and one by SAMS 'Learn Transact SQL in 21 days'. It pertains to 6.5 but it is still my favorite. If you are just starting there was a 'Special Report' by Pinnacle 'Developing Client/Server Applications With Visual FoxPro and SQL Server'. Don't be too put off by the fact that it covers VFP 3.0 and SQL 6. The ODBC connections and SPT have not changed that much and it is very basic. The main advantage is that it is VFP oriented. It covers making the connections and upsizing; all from VFP. There is also some help from the VFP developers Guide. Good Luck.
Regards,
Paige
