It seems I've only been on the 405 at the worse possible times. I hear from 12:00 midnight to 12:15 you can fly.

>I live near Costa Mesa, It is only a 45 minute drive on the 405 south from LAX. However, the caveat as always with SoCal driving is the day of the week and time of day that you will travel. The time estimate of 45 minutes grows depending on the above. If one were to fly into LAX wednesday eveining prior to the conference, the drive should not be very bad.
