I am trying to set up a COM server on a test web server (IIS) using DCOMCNFG. But while trying to set up the Internet Guest account for the machine in Default Security, the machine name does not show up anywhere in the list. I tried using the Search utility using the Search All option, but this too failed to find the machine name. I am wondering if this is why I can't get the COM server to run in interactive mode from VFP on the server as well as from a web hit. What would cause the machine name to not show up in the list?
