Thanks to you (and others) for the info. Sounds like a "proceed with caution" scenario. I'll try to get more info first. For $70 (or thereabouts) it might be at least worth trying, but now I am at least forwarned. thanks again!

It was difficult to do the assignments because the book didn't explain things. I was grateful that I use VFP because the book totally lacked any explantion about OOP. I finally gave up and dropped out of the course.
