Return .f. in your valid method

>Does anyone know what is equivalent to the SETFOCUS command? In my valid method, it's not allowing me to thisform.fieldtxt.setfocus. It says that it's not allowed in Valid event. Do you have another suggestion of what to use? I tried got focus but that doesn't work either!
