Does anybody know how to get UT Navigator to close the connection after getting new messages and re-establish when you want to send or get further messages.

I am completely mobile here. Apart from weekends, I use my notebook and mobile phone and would like to set UT Navigator up to only connect to the internet when needed, not keep my phone ticking over while I'm looking through the messages.
