I looked and looked and couldn't find a specific Japanese version of VFP. There are Chinese, etc. but apparently no Japanese. I compiled my exe under plain ol' VFP, American WIN NT and when installed under Japanese Windows, it worked fine(eventualy!) I decided that what ever is needed for Japanese is built into English VFP.

As far as a conversion, I'd use INTL Toolkit. The only problems I had getting our app to runn properly in Japanese are probably traceable to our 3 1/2 years of mutating the Codebook framework. INTL handles the string and font switching, etc.
