Nothing personal, but again I disagree with you. Of course our customers want their own interfaces (and do not want to pay for it). They hire us for customer tailored programming, don't they?

I often find myself building bridges between two different packages. That is our job! Trying to standardize that is going against your very existence as a producer of software.
