This is probably a "well, duh!" question, but I am learning VFP (version 6) on my own, and the online documentation has been no help.

I have seen many references to creating a cursor and using it as the basis of a report. But when I am in the Report Designer, the only things I seem to be able to assign to the Data Environment are tables and views. How can I explain to the report that I am going to be creating a cursor for it at runtime?

I would also like to be able to assume that the cursor and report are running in the same private datasession I have created for the calling form. This is going to be a shared application, and I don't want my cursors colliding!

Thank you for any tips on these matters.
