I checked this morning, and I had removed the setting of Rowsource = 0 in my requery event. Only had the Multiselect change. The form the box is on is modeless so I can run another form, add a new code and update the list with the new value when the 1st form activates. I tested this and it worked as expected. I made certain that the new item should become the 3rd element in the list which was highlighted when I added the new code and the "correct" item was now the 4th item and it worked as expected.

I'll look at it again today, and let you know. You're propably getting ready to go home soon. BTW, my son's girlfriend was in Europe and brought me back a copy of The Times. I spent the evening reading last Saturday's edition and really enjoyed the difference in writing style and the meaning of certain words. I remember that someone was "tipped" for some government position. I knew what the writer meant.
