>Can you use the GetEnv() function to find the DOS variable TEMP? Most systems running Windows have this variable set to their preferred drive, and you could use it. If the variable isn't set, perhaps you could ask the user with the LocFile() function and even save it in your user-login file for future use. I'm not sure about Win95 temp files, but if there isn't a default directory set up by Win95 there should be a way of setting one just as in Windows.

Nope...doesn't work. You can't redirect temp files once Fox is running, which is what you'd need to do for your suggestion to work.
