This might be too much work for what you are doing, but, IMHO, I would replace the single memo field with a child table that contains the time stamps as well as the memo, and then place the whole thing in a grid. Then you can use the dynamic color controls to change the colors of the rows in the grid.

But then again, that might be too much like work :-)
