I was camping at the seaside in Croatia with my parents (I was 14 then), and there was no single TV in the whole camp, and we heard it through a tiny transistor. I just remember the yells which spread through the camp (there were about 3000 people there). Must have been about just-after-breakfast time, so only 15 minutes later, when the broadcast was finished, we just went swimming. But then, I was swallowing newspaper for days after that.
