Try a search on "cannot update cursor". In the range Jan-June 99. There are a variety of ideas and possible causes.

>I have a client with a large project in FPdos. I converted the project to VFP6, sp3 by totally rewriting it. When I tried to compile the new project that only held the new stuff, I got numerous messages in the build log which were easily handled, but upon the next build attempt I receive "Cannot update the cursor" and the build does not complete.
