I accidentally became the PL/I & JCL guru when I first arrived here about 10 years ago, even though I was hired as a statistician. Only later did I find out what they *really* wanted me for, seeing all the computer courses on my resume :) I still get the occasional odd question from some non-downsized far corner of the agency...
