>>When I use SPT to query an Oracle DB, I am using the MousePointer property to change the mouse cursor shape to an hourglass, then back to default when finished. However, if the user TABS to the command button and hits the ENTER key to start this process, or any other process for that matter, the mouse cursor disappears. Once the process starts, the mouse cursor still will not appear even if the user physically moves the mouse. The problem is just changing the value of the MousePointer property does not make the cursor visible. Anyone know of a way to make the cursor reappear before I start the query?

Just figured it out. See new post under chatter for VFP Tip on this.
