>>Hi,

>>I'm getting the error "System error &H80004002 (-2147467262). No such interface supported" when trying to add an ActiveX component to a project, either by right-clicking the gallery of by going through the menu. This only happens when I add a comp, not when it's already in the project. I've tried to re-apply SPs (3 for VStudio and 5 for NT), but to no avail, and naturally, I can't find anything on the MS website. Anyone know of another possible fix (short of re-installing VS)?

>Ok, for general information, I have been able to resolve the issue (finally able to find it on MS KB). This occurs when there's a corrupt version of comcat.dll on your machine. After trying drastic measures, such as re-installing VS, this problem won't remain solved. The only solution is to copy the file from your VS (or VB) CD after unregistering the old one, then register the new one.
