PMFJI, Yes you can design cols and headers visually as part of a grid, but you can't design or define them visually and save them as a class independantly. Also, if you add your columns at runtime (very common) and wish to have custom behaivor you must load them from a class saved in code.
I have a Wish in the KB to allow these objects to be saved and stored in a VCX.
