It is shut off, at least in the Options dialog, I'm not creating the connection "manually" but through Control Panel -> ODBC Data Sources, so I don't get to set this up, although I guess I could if I can figure out a way to get the connection Id.

Fetching all records as Josh suggested worked, but heck I want to learn all I can about this, and if there's another way (i.e. only fetching a few records) I'd love to hear about it, thanks
