As a former employee of the company that makes VMP, I can tell you about one pitfall. VMP 3.01 uses some date functions that VFP 6.0 will not accept if SET STRICTDATE is 2. The alterations to upgrade to VMP 4 are not too difficult and are documented quite well. You'd gain a bunch of nice new features by upgrading. Besides, I doubt I can provide much in the way of support for VMP 3.01 now as its been quite a while.
