I think there should be another table, that stores the user information and associates it with dates. That way, my posts from before 11/97 would show the MicroKnowledge company name, my current ones would show Microsoft -- but all of them would be associated with my primary key.

Nope, I was never in Charlotte -- MS Tech was based out of there. I'm still in Bellevue.
