I have a VFP com server being called from an ASP page. Works fine exporting data to files with 'COPY TO (somefile) TYPE ...' command. I am now attempting to send the same data set to a file using the 'REPORT FORM somerpt.frx TO FILE (somefile) NOCONSOLE' command. The com server returns error# 1001 'Feature is not available' on this line. The report form IS included in the project the com server is built from.
Is it not possible to send a report form to a file from a VFP automation server? My thinking is that this operation shouldn't be any different than using the 'COPY TO' command to send the raw data to a file. It's the same data - just a different format.
