This reminds me of a car salesman that wanted to sell a mildly scratched KIA to my sister-in-law (true story). He told her, "this is the car you are looking for, definitely you". -And what about that volkswagen jetta over there?- my beloved sister-in-law replied. The man said: "Those will be out of the market when the new beetle comes out, you don't want that".

The consultant wants to sell what he's got (or familiar with), AND he doesn't know the first thing about VFP as a development tool. Or maybe he's talking about the Mac version of VFP.
