Thanks for the idea...



I ended up discovering the culprit class and rebuilding it from scratch in Visual Studio. This also seemed to take care of the problem.

Christian Cote had an interesting suggestion about trashed code in the reserved5 field of the offending class.

I guess by rebuilding from scratch, this field has no entries in it.
