Hi Philip,

In FPW, there's a maximum of 5 READ levels. In order to achieve what appears to be event processing is that the forms (screens) aren't released when the value of WONTOP() changes. What happens is that the code for the next form (screen), if it already exists is re-reun.

You might try doing a search on the MS KB for the phrase FOUNDATION READ, which will show you how to properly implement this. Otherwise, post back and I'll post some code with notes explaining how this works. Be forewarned, however, I'll be on vacation next week, so I may not reply until the week after.
