Each table has a backlink info in its header pointing to its database. If you rename the database then tables wouldn't be able to get backlink. It starts at offset header record terminator + 1 and 263 bytes.
If you rename database then either change backlink info lowlevel or open tables one by one. It will ask for you to locate its database, point to new dbc.
