I have been experimenting with the Crystal Reports component that ships with Visual Studio 6 (Crystal Reports Version 4.6) to generate some reports from FoxPro data. The control works fine but I have a question. When I send the report to a disk file - the page breaks defined in the report don't seem to be included. To explain - I define a simple report with a group on the field 'ORDER_NUM'. I format the report to insert a page break after the group. When previewed - the report looks fine, 1 group per page. If I send the report to a disk file, there are no page breaks, all records print on page 1. Is this by design? The goal is to send the report to a text or html file that can be retrieved and printed at a later time.
