A million cell spreadsheet! Sheesh I'm glad I'm not your enduser *LOL*

You can use SET TEXTMERGE to create a CSV file that excel can open. The problem is that VFP tables can't have 1000 columns so there it no single command that will work. If you are within the limits of a VFP table you can COPY TO ... TYPE XLx and then just have excel open the file.

Automation of Word and Excel also go much quicker if they are not Visible at the time you are talking to them.

>Is there a quicker way to populate cells in Excell other than setting the value of each cell independently? I am loading an Excel Worksheet with up to 1000 columns and about the same number of rows and going the the loop with single cell calls takes forever. Perhaps there is a way with arrays?
