Well Vfp 5.0a has truly baffled me this time!

I am building a network based installation set of a single exe just as I have done many times before. This time, however, when I run the setup.exe it only updates the icon, stf file, but not the application itself. For some reason, the exe will not be updated if it already exists - even after a complete rebuild and install (rather than reinstall).

This needs to work as data CDs will be reproduced periodicaly that may have a changed application. I don't fancy asking the individuals to de-install before re-installing.

Does anyone have any ideas?

If so, please let me know - they will be gratefully received.

p.s. I have checked the following:
1. I am rebuilding the exe and I can see the new date/time stamp
2. I am copying the new exe to the distibution location
3. The build is made from this location
4. I am definately installing the the same location
5. The new date/time stamp only appears for the icon and STF file
