What is odd is that I am creating the form in VFP 5/6, and calling it from my code, which should work fine. This particular program runs intensive code in the background with little user interaction. I hope I don't have to build an application.

>If it's any help it happenned to me too, I converted from Fox 2.6 to VFP 5, the forms generated by the conversion worked fine, but if I added a form, it wouldn't respond to the mouse or keyboard, it wouldn't interact with the user at all , except for the close button. I dumped the thing and built it from scratch in VFP 6, not just because of that, but many other annoying details, and besides it looked ugly :).

Prayer of St Ephrem:
O Lord and Master of My Life,
Take from me the spirit of sloth, meddling, ambition and vain talk.
But give me a spirit of prudence, humility, patience and love.
Yes Lord and King grant me to see my own sins and faults
and not judge my brother.
For You are Blessed Forever and Ever. Amen.
